BAS REICHERT

Commercial director and Laboratory manager: Bas is responsible for everything that enters and leaves the laboratories. Bas focuses on the development of new services and strategies based on market opportunities. He manages the marketing and sales department and maintains contacts with larger customers so that he can keep abreast of their interests and developments.

Background:

Bas studied Biology at Leiden University, majoring in Biochemistry. He specialised in molecular genetics. During an internship, he became acquainted with and learned the DNA sequencing technology. A second internship at TNO with a strong focus on commercial applications, gave Bas and Erna the idea to start their own company offering DNA sequencing services.
