Genotyping Product Specialist:
Monika studied Biology at the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Universitaet in Bonn. Following her graduation, she specialised in forensic DNA analysis at the Universitaet of Köln and received her PhD on Y-chromosomal polymorphisms in forensic casework. After moving to the Netherlands she spent some years working for TLR in Rotterdam where she was involved in real time quantitative PCR for GMO testing in plants. Monika joined BaseClear mid-June 2009.
