24 HOUR QUICK SHOT SEQUENCING 

As a cost-effective alternative to our 24H service, we offer the 24H Quick Shot sequencing service. For this service, the premixing of DNA and primer is done by the customer.

BaseClear’s 24H Quick Shot Sequencing service:

• DNA purification and premixing with primer is done by the customer 
• Samples received before 10 a.m. are sequenced directly, sequence data will be delivered the next day before 10 a.m. 
• Single sequencing reaction with a run-time corresponding to either 1000 bp (long run) or 550 bp (short run) 
• Data analysis occurs automatically by PHRED, the international standard software for superior base calling and sequence data interpretation 
• No manual editing or reviewing of the quality of the sequence data 
• You will receive a full report of the sequencing reaction, including sequence data in FASTA and SCF format 
• Rerun only upon request 
• Important: A completed order form should be sent to dna@BaseClear.com at least one day in advance

Purified DNA premixed with primer

• For purified plasmid samples, submit 0,75 µg plasmid DNA mixed with 25 pmol of primer in a total volume of 20 µl 
• For PCR product samples, submit 15 ng per 100 bp PCR product with 25 pmol of primer in a total volume of 20 µl
