FORENSIC DNA profiling

The significance of DNA-profiles in forensic research is increasing. It is therefore important that the determination of the DNA-profiles occurs fast and that the results are of a high quality. The same is true for contra expertise on a certain DNA profile. BaseClear has a specialised forensic lab that meets all requirements. DNA profiling is marketed through our subsidiary company Verilabs Europe. We successfully participate in proficiency tests, including the GEDNAP proficiency tests of the German Society for Forensic Research and the proficiency tests of the International Society for Forensic Genetics. We determine DNA profiles not only for forensic research, but also for relationship- and paternity tests.
Forensic DNA profiling is done under ISO17025 guidelines.
