Since the very start of BaseClear, our focus has been on quality and service. These are the issues on the basis of which we want to distinguish ourselves.  It is for this reason, for example, that we always investigate why a test didn't work in the event of a failure. We want to be sure that we didn't do anything wrong when carrying out the test. This is one of the things that makes us stand out amongst our competitors in the market.

We have a high quality Lab Information Management System (LIMS), that assures full traceability of all samples that we handle.  

Even in our early years, we looked around for GLP and ISO-like guidelines. The ISO accreditation became a necessity when we started with the paternity tests (marketed via daughter company Verilabs).

We decided to organise our complete laboratory according to the ISO17025 guidelines (formally Sterlab). That enables us to extend the ISO accreditation for other tests, should it be necessary. Our lab has been ISO 17025 accredited since 2006. We believe that working according to such quality guidelines is where the future lies.
