Sequence a bacterial genome for €1100,-
De Novo or resequencing of bacterial genomes can be expensive. Baseclear now offers a cost efficient service, based on paired-end sequencing on the Illumina GAIIx. Just submit 20 ug of purified (bacterial) genomic DNA, and for only €1100,-, you will receive a minimum of 300 MB sequenicng data in 50-cycle paired-end reads!
An average bacterial genome size is 4 MB, wich means you will have a coverage of ~70 times, which is sufficient to give approximately 95% coverage for most bacterial genomes.
Terms & Conditions:
Using the Illumina GAIIx platform we will generate a minimum of 300 MB DNA sequence data for any genomic DNA sample for €1100.-.
