DNA sequence verification of oligonucleotides
The analysis of the DNA sequence of oligonucleotides is not a straithforward, routine analysis. BaseClear has developed, in close co-operation with users, a method to easily and reliably determine the sequence of any oligonucleotide.
In a first step, the client oligo is coupled to a leader sequence through overlapping primers. The resulting template is amplified in consecutive steps using the client oligo. Individual products are then cloned and sequenced.
In this way BaseClear cannot only verify the DNA sequence, but also quantitatively determine the presence of certain bases.
