COMBINATORIAL LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION
BaseClear can construct high quality synthetic DNA libraries in order to optimise even the most complicated genes. With our combinatorial library construction service, several locations are mutated in one or more (or all) possible variants.
A typical combinatorial library project includes the following stages:
- Discuss and agree with our product specialist which mutants have to be introduced and the backbone vector which can be used
- Create the mutants required at each amino acid position.
- A number of colonies will be picked and verified by DNA sequencing, unique clones are picked into a 96-MTP in a format which has been agreed with the customer
- The customer will receive the sequence verified clones in the format required.
