Jan Peter manages a team of five technicians, who are responsible for carrying out all DNA purifications and DNA sequencing. Jan Peter takes care of the quality assurance and the delivery of the resulting data at the agreed upon times. He always runs a final check on the sequence data before they are sent off to the customers.

Quick shot sequencing service
The Quick Shot is the most cost-effective option in our sequencing services. The customer premixes DNA and primer and BaseClear performs the DNA sequencing reaction.
BaseClear's Quick Shot sequencing service in short
- DNA purification and premixing of DNA and primer is done by the customer.
- Sequence reactions are loaded onto our sequencers with a run-time corresponding to 550 or 1000 bases.
- Data analysis occurs automatically by PHRED, the international standard software for superior base calling and sequence data interpretation. No manual data editing.
- Rerun only upon request.
- Delivery time: 3 working days.
High throughput Quick Shot sequencing service
Our high throughput sequencing facility allows us to process large sample quantities. Samples should be delivered in 96- or 384-plates. Just as for the normal Quick Shot Sequencing Service, all samples should be premixed with primer.
24h Quick Shot sequencing service
For urgent matters it is possible to make use of our 24 hour Quick Shot sequencing service. Samples that we receive before 10 a.m. will be sequenced directly. Sequence data will be delivered the next day before 10 a.m.
Important: A completed order form should be sent to dna@baseclear.com at least one day in advance.

- Quick Shot Long: Single sequencing reaction on DNA sample premixed with primer, read length up to 1000 bp.
- HT Quick Shot Short: Single sequencing reaction on DNA samples in a multiwell plates, premixed with primer, read length up to 550 bp.
- HT Quick Shot Long: Single sequencing reaction on DNA samples in a multiwell plates, premixed with primer, read length up to 750 bp.
- 24h Quick Shot Short: Single sequencing reaction on DNA sample premixed with primer, read length up to 550 bp. Data delivery within 24 hours.
- 24 h Quick Shot Long: Single sequencing reaction on DNA sample premixed with primer, read length up to 1000 bp. Data delivery within 24 hours.
- GC-rich run: Additional charge for GC-rich samples. The sequencing reaction will be performed with a special sequencing kit.
