Dna purification service
Absolutely pure DNA in sufficient quantities is a requirement for many DNA techniques, such as PCR, cloning and sequencing. DNA purification is, however not always easy and can be laborious and time-consuming. BaseClear offers you several fast and cost-effective options for the isolation, purification and amplification of DNA. These can be ordered in combination with our other services.
BaseClear makes use of the latest technologies. As such, we can guarantee sufficient pure DNA suitable for even the highest demanding procedures. We can isolate, amplify and purify DNA from almost any origin and starting quantity. Thanks to extensive robotisation and automation we can work fast and handle a nearly unlimited number of samples.
The standard options are:
Target DNA amplification
Amplification of target DNA is a very effective alternative to traditional purification techniques. It is especially useful for difficult samples, such as GC-rich DNA, low copy plasmids or genomic DNA. The technique is also suitable for application in high throughput samples.
PCR Purification
Purification of PCR products from PCR reactions and purification of DNA fragments from agarose gels.
Plasmid Purification
Purification of high-quality plasmid DNA from various volumes of E.coli culture. This is also possible in high throughput format.
DNA isolation from blood or buccal swabs
Purification of DNA from buccal swabs and various volumes of blood samples, varying from 100 ml to 10 ml.
Genomic DNA purification
Purification of genomic DNA from various sources, such as whole blood, buffy coat, cultured cells, tissue, swabs, dried blood spots, etc.
