For a growing company in a booming industry, we are looking for candidates for the position of:

CELL LINE VALIDATION INTERN

32 – 40 hours per week
6 – 9 months duration

We are seeking a motivated MSc student in Molecular Biology or a related field for a 6–9 month internship focused on method development and validation in the context of cell and gene therapy applications. This internship offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, including Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and GMP-compliant workflow design, with exposure to international regulatory guidelines.

What will you be doing?

During this internship, you will be learning and working on the following:

  • Selection, testing, and validation of a nucleotide extraction method for eukaryotic cells
  • Selection, testing, and validation of quality control (QC) methods
  • End-to-end workflow validation in accordance with international regulatory guidelines (e.g., EMA, FDA)

Who are you?

  • You are currently pursuing an MSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
  • You have experience & interests in international regulatory frameworks (EMA, FDA) and GMP; prior experience is a plus. You have a keen interest in Cell and Gene Therapy technologies and are familiarity with or interest in NGS platforms such as Illumina and Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT)
  • As a person, you are proactive, detail-oriented yet flexible, and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment.
