BaseClear offers a complete range of microbial genomics services for many applications including clinical trials wherein microbiome readouts are also part of results: metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, microbiome analysis and microbial strain characterization for regulatory approval.

For our commercial team, we are always on the lookout for seasoned commercial talent.

What will you be doing?

As a senior commercial member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing BaseClear’s key accounts by building strong and long-term customer relationships and cross selling of services. You are proactive and receptive to the needs & services required by our customers. Consultative sales & account management is the core of this role. The role can require both national and international travel, so travelling flexibility  is ideal. In this role, you will be part of an ambitious and passionate team of account managers, business developers and marketeers.

Who are you?

Our team and clients will benefit from a talent with the following experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Life Science or likewise
  • Minimum of 5 years´ experience in a commercial position with a CRO in the life science industry
  • Experience with consultatively selling services within in the pharma- & biotech industry
  • Experience with setting up contract and global MSA´s
  • You come with a network in the pharma, food ingredients or biotech market
  • You characterize yourself as being an energetic and strong communicator who easily builds long-term relationships. It is in your nature to take initiative and you are comfortable negotiating and closing deals.
