BaseClear is looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern with life sciences/biology background, who will be responsible for conduction market research and development of the marketing plan for one of our product lines.

The internship will give you the opportunity to learn how to conduct market research, analyse information and how to translate this into a marketing plan. You will work directly with the marketing director.

About BaseClear

You will be working for a growing high-tech company. BaseClear has leading expertise in microbial genomics and offers complete solutions related to this to customers working in for instance the food, pharma & life science industry. We now have around 65 employees and are proudly located at the heart of the Leiden Bio Science Park.

About the internship position.

As Market Research intern, you will help to set up and conduct market & competitive analysis. The most important activities include:

  • Market & Competitor analysis
  • SWOT-analysis
  • Share insight based upon analysis within the commercial & product line team
  • Develop a marketing plan for the product line

We are looking for:

  • You are following / have followed a Master of Science in a Life Science discipline (Biology, Life Science & Technology, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or similar).
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You are enthusiastic, creative and good communicator
  • You are available for a period of 5-6 months for at least 4 days per week
