BaseClear was founded in 1993, and ever since has been a pioneer in genomic analysis. We have been on the forefront of microbial genomics innovations and industrial applications. BaseClear offers a complete range of microbial genomics services for many applications including clinical trials wherein microbiome readouts are also part of results: metagenomics, meta transcriptomics, microbiome analysis and microbial strain characterization for regulatory approval.

For our operations department, we are looking for candidates for the position of: MANAGER SEQUENCING & LAB ANALYSIS (32 - 40 hours per week)
Job:
In this role, you will be responsible for the lab execution of commercial projects and continuous improvement of the internal processes in terms of quality and efficiency. You will work as part of a highly motivated team of supply chain specialists, scientists, bio informaticians and technicians.
Main tasks and responsibilities include:
You supervise a group of ± 20 technicians and report to the Director of Operations.
Profile:
You carry a MSc/PhD degree in molecular biology or a related field, plus 5 years relevant work experience. Experience with setting up new protocols and methods is required. Experience with Next-Generation sequencing technologies is a big advantage. You are both fluent in Dutch (C1) and English.
