BaseClear is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic marketing assistant with an interest in life sciences/biotechnology for a fixed period of 6 months. During these 6 months, you will provide operational marketing support mainly related to several conferences we sponsor in the second half of the year, as well as supporting events that are organised by BaseClear. In addition you will coordinate content creation, social media outreach, email campaigns and the stock management of marketing materials. You can provide input for creative campaigns that will contribute to achieving the marketing objectives.

About the position:

As Marketing Assistant, you will help with the practical execution of marketing campaigns and activities. The most important activities include:

Operational support related to conferences we sponsor or attend
Support related to event organisation
Stock management of marketing materials, and distribution of these materials for conferences and other events
Sending out direct marketing campaigns
Coordination of content creation for website and marketing materials
Social media posting and outreach
Implementation of e-mail campaigns
Administrative CRM database support
Providing input for creative marketing campaigns

We are looking for:

You have followed a course in marketing, communication, or similar (or equivalent experience in a marketing position)
You have an interest in life sciences/biotechnology
You are enthusiastic, energetic and creative
You are a good communicator in English (required) and Dutch (preferred)
You are available for a period of 6 months for at least 24 hours per week (32-40 hours preferred)
