Marketing Specialist – Bioscience
(40 hours per week)

In this role, you will be working as part of the commercial team. This team is composed of Marketing, Sales and Account Management. The team has a vacancy for Marketing Specialist to support BaseClear’s growth ambition and market positioning goals. The candidate will play a key role in corporate branding, market positioning, marketing campaign management, market research and communication strategies. The commercial & scientific business teams are closely knit, and the candidate is expected to work closely with both groups. Job:

The Biotechnology market is dynamic, growing and demanding. As our Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic, multi-channel, cross-portfolio marketing plans to drive growth for the Life Science business in collaboration with cross-marketing teams, scientists, operations and commercial teams.

A customer and market driven approach is crucial to the job to support existing and new business. The activities you coordinate are aimed at promoting BaseClear’s business, services, products, and brand. You will have a key role in delivering annual budgets and performance, generating new business aligned leads, (new) product launches, promotions, and analyzing market trends. Additionally, you will be the primary contact point for all outsourced marketing activities.

You operate within the commercial team and will work closely on a daily basis with account managers, business developers and marketing team. You will be a part of the senior commercial team and report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Profile:

  • Minimum BSc degree in a scientific discipline or marketing; MSc degree preferred. Work experience: 5-10 years outbound marketing experience in Life Sciences. Experience in microbial genomics, infectious disease or Cell/Gene therapy is a plus.
  • Proven experience of using and optimizing a multi-channel marketing approach to the right customers at the right time.
  • Supervision and project management skills. Experience with coordinating third parties or outsourced marketing activities, including conferences.
  • Experience with one or more CRMs is a must: Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot or similar.
  • Creative, flexible, focused, ambition to grow, can-do-mentality, with a proactive commercial mindset.
  • Innovative and idea generating mindset with eagerness to search for and adapt to new marketing strategies or thought leaders
  • Experienced in working with scientists and researchers as clients will be an advantage.
  • The ability to work well independently and with inter departments.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
