For our operations department, we are looking for candidates for the position of:

Senior Analyst Next Generation Sequencing

(32 – 40 hrs)

What will you be doing?

You will be part of a motivated team of (senior) analysts. You will be responsible for the daily coordination of the next generations sequencing laboratory processes, working with approved protocols and according to ISO and GMP standards.

Your main responsibilities are:

– Executing and overseeing laboratory activities in our laboratory
– Maintaining an optimal production flow
– Checking and releasing laboratory results
– Training and supervising analysts
– Constantly monitoring quality and improving laboratory practices and processes

Who are you?

You have a completed BSc/ MSc degree in molecular biology or microbiology with at least 5 years of relevant working experience (partly academic and experience with GMP or ISO would be a preference). You have experience in Illumina sequencing (extractions, library preps & sequencing). It would be ideal if you have a background in cell therapy or infectious diseases and have some experience with supervising others.

You live in close proximity to our Leiden office.
