Join us for the 8th edition of this annual expert-level gathering, where we delve into the latest scientific and regulatory developments in microbial strain safety for food and feed applications. This year’s meeting focuses on risk assessment in the food chain, with presentations and discussions covering a wide range of cutting-edge topics.

Topics include Novel Food authorisation of HMOs, EFSA’s updated guidance on microbial risk assessment, insights from the FAO’s report on precision fermentation, and real-world experiences from companies navigating regulatory dossiers. Hua’s expertise in microbiology is fortified by her educational journey spanning two continents and her international work experience in diverse roles across different research institutes and universities. Throughout her career, she has been focused on unravelling the complexities of microbial communities and exploring the intricate interactions between microorganisms and their environments.
