Online experts meeting on Microbiome & Human Health – September 24, 2020

BaseClear routinely organises expert meetings wherein scientists and application specialist meet, share and discuss microbiome projects, challenges and opportunities related to human health. Our next experts meeting on Microbiome & Human Health is scheduled for September 24, 2020 and will be hosted online. Due to the interactive nature of this meeting, the number of particpants is limited.

Microbiomes play a vital role in human health. However there is still much research to be done to understand the functional links between the microbiome and disease. The industry is advancing rapidly by linking the microbiome to human health including identifying early risk factors of diseases and learning how the microbiome influences our ability to respond to many drugs. This work is opening up a vast range of opportunities including faecal microbiota transplants to rebalance the gut microbiome and developing pre- & probiotics and alternatives to antibiotics.
