Seminar on Oxford Nanopore Sequencing; Are you ready for the challenges?

Developments in the sequencing field are going very fast. The added value of long read single-molecule technologies has become evident. An entire new array of applications has become possible with portable, real-time biological analysis. United Kingdom based Oxford Nanopore™ Technologies is the market leader in this field and shows a lot of potential with their MinION and PromethION systems.

Subject: Applications and Challenges of Oxford Nanopore Sequencing in the Life Science Industry

Event date: September 2nd, 2016
Location: Corpus, Willem Einthovenstraat 1, Oegstgeest, The Netherlands
Registration: Closed

BaseClear, together with KeyGene and Generade and with the support of Oxford Nanopore Technologies and ZF Screens, organizes two seminar about the applications and challenges of Oxford Nanopore sequencing in the Life Science Industry. The seminars provide you the latest updates and insights in applications of this important research field. The first edition was held on April 14th in Wageningen with a focus on applications in the agro industry and was a great success. The second seminar will be held in Leiden on September 2nd and will address the applications of this technology within the industrial biotechnology.

National and international experts will share their knowledge and experience in respect to the Oxford Nanopore sequencing technology. You are most welcome on Friday September 2nd at Corpus, Leiden (The Netherlands).

The program will take from 13:00 – 17:30. Free admission!
