With Master’s degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Biomolecular Sciences, I developed a strong interest in microbiology during my academic training, particularly through hands-on work with human pathogens. This interest deepened during my PhD research on Mycobacterium species, and later in a postdoctoral role in Newcastle, UK, where I studied protein complexes in Staphylococcus aureus.
“Microorganisms hold the key to understanding human health and disease. I’m driven by the challenge of decoding their complexities to support innovation in science and medicine.”
At BaseClear, I’m excited to translate my academic experience into practical, high-quality microbial genomics solutions. I am particularly drawn to the field of next-generation sequencing, as it is constantly evolving and presents incredible opportunities for innovation. I look forward to collaborating with clients across diverse sectors—providing scientific insight, analytical support, and clear communication to help them answer key biological questions and drive their projects forward. With experience working in international research environments, I value clear scientific communication and collaborative problem-solving, and I aim to be a trusted and approachable scientific partner to both clients and colleagues.
