Researchers with no or limited access to Genomics (including Next-Generation sequencing approaches) or Bioinformatics can now apply for a subsidy up to €30.000 in the Enabling Technologies Hotels (ETH) program. The ETH program aims to stimulate the collaboration between researchers with and without access to high-end technologies. The Technology Hotel concept entails that researchers who do not have access to high-end technologies (the guests), can obtain access to high-end technologies and expertise via a service-oriented facility (the Hotel) with the ambition of realizing active follow-up collaboration.
BaseClear is an approved Technology Hotel. Life Science researchers who do not have access to specific sequencing facilities at their home institute can apply for funding to get access to the high-end equipment and expertise of Technology Hotels such as BaseClear. The 2019 call is open. deadline for applications is October 1st, 2019. Maximum funding is €30.000 per project. The ETH project has a fixed duration of 12 months.
